The Institute for Understanding International Relations (IUIR) is a premier research institution dedicated to advancing multi-faceted understanding of global issues through interdisciplinary research and the dissemination of practical knowledge. We analyze the complex challenges facing the international community to seek sustainable futures and new social visions, thereby contributing to the vitalization of academic, educational, and cultural exchanges both at home and abroad.
The Institute shares specialized research outcomes by hosting academic conferences and publishing comprehensive research reports, while building a solid foundation for future generations by developing educational curricula and supporting frontline learning environments. Furthermore, we undertake diverse international cooperation initiatives—including support for UNESCO heritage programs and consultancies for obtaining UN status—to expand global networks connecting international organizations, governments, and NGOs, taking the lead in realizing international values.
